Setting Up Telegram

To connect your agent to Telegram, you need a Telegram Bot Token:

• Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
• Send /newbot and follow the prompts to create a new bot
• Copy the bot token provided by BotFather
• Go to your agent's settings in the Nexus dashboard
• Paste the token in the Telegram configuration section
• Click Connect — your agent will start responding to messages sent to the bot

Group Chat Support

Your agent can be added to Telegram group chats. In groups, the agent only responds when mentioned (@yourbotname) to avoid noise. Direct messages are always responded to.
